The new Sportel is perfectly located in Varde with a short distance to both the railway station and the city center. There is free parking right at the door and the Sportel offers charging stations for overnight guests in electric cars.
The Sportellet is, of course, intended for athletes - both professional and elite. But there is also plenty of room for private guests and people from the business community who need an attractive place to spend the night. And not just for the night. Because the sports hotel is much more than a place to sleep. It offers easy access to many indoor and outdoor sports facilities. And there are both meeting and banquet rooms.
In the center we also have meeting rooms that are particularly suitable for courses and lectures. All rooms are equipped with the latest AV equipmen
22 newly decorated rooms
With the new Sportel on the long side of the football stadium, Sportium now also has its own accommodation facilities. The Sportel has 22 newly designed rooms in a simple and functional style.
SMOKE-FREE HOTEL
All rooms and premises at the hotel are non-smoking areas. A fee of DKK 1,000 will be charged if, despite Danish legislation, signs and warnings, you still smoke indoors. It is also not allowed to smoke out the windows. This also applies to e-cigarettes.
NOTE, there is no elevator to the 1st floor.

On the ground floor of the sports hall there is a lounge. Here you can relax, work, watch TV or just hang out in the cozy surroundings. If you need more movement and want to get your heart rate up, you can go to the Sportium, where young and old alike have many opportunities to get moving for real and fun.

Breakfast in the morning
We serve a good and healthy breakfast buffet. Here you will be offered a buffet consisting of fresh homemade bread, rye bread, yogurt with muesli, oatmeal and cornflakes, various jams, cheeses and cold cuts as well as seasonal vegetables.
If you are allergic to gluten, please contact the reception upon arrival so that we can ensure the largest possible selection.
You can also quench your thirst with everything from freshly brewed coffee to tea, juice, milk and water.
Breakfast buffet in the café: 06:30 to 10:00 on weekdays and from 07:00-10:00 on weekends/holidays - ... but if you need a different time slot, it's not a problem.
CHECK IN
Check-in takes place at the reception in Sportium, Lerpøtvej 55, Varde from 15:00 to 21:00 on the day of arrival.

Any changes to a booking must be made before 18.00 on the day of arrival. After this, 100% will be charged for the booking.
CHECK OUT
Check out is at the reception in the Sportium. The keys must be handed in at the reception no later than 10 am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed.
The room is yours until 10.00 on the day of your departure. If you wish to check out later than 10:00, please contact reception. Please note that we charge a fee of DKK 100 per hour or part thereof for late check-out. Late check-out is subject to availability at the Sport Hotel and can only be obtained by request in advance.
Payment for stays must be made prior to arrival or arrange with the reception if an invoice is to be sent to a Danish company.
